Among the meetings we did we'd like to share a deep teaching from Jack Hoban (Marines Former and one of the firsts foreign Shihan) during a seminar in October 2010

The Warrior Creed

by Robert L. Humphrey
(Marine Rifle Platoon Commander on Iwo Jima & Bujinkan 10th Dan)

Wherever I go,
everyone is a little bit safer because I am there.

Wherever I am,
anyone in need has a friend.

Whenever I return home,
everyone is happy I am there.

"It's a better life!"

The ethic prospective is the only way to practice BUDO. Any other personal interest is destined to fail.

Following an ethic prospective, instead, enriches the person and divert from looking and thinking only about themselves.
